The 3 mil thickness makes all the difference as compared to the 1.1 mil bags you typically pick up in a convenience store. Usually, I would pick this up at a Hardware store but Amazon Prime gives me free shipping on this bulky item (I don't understand how they can make much money on such items) and therefore saves time.
Good, but could be better,

We used these bags to haul away drywall, plaster, and furring strips.
Pros: 3mil, heavy duty bags
Cons: No flap-tie closure & does not fit easily over the garbage can (Rubbermaid's Brute 32-Gallon Gray Outdoor Garbage Can)
We eventually starting using Contractor's Choice 50-Count 42-Gallon Ready-Tie(tm) Contractor Bags. Those bags are easier to tie and fit over our garbage can very easily.
Yay! Bags!,

Great all-purpose, heavy duty cleanup bags. They fit nicely in a BRUTE garbage can and hold up to a good deal rubbish.
