When I ordered these shower curtain rings I was expecting them to be made of hard plastic but they are not. They are made of soft plastic like those "jelly" sandals. It makes them sparkle less, but I don't have to worry about the petals getting knocked off either. From a few feet away, you can't tell. So, if you're wanting something very glamorous, maybe they aren't for you. But if you need something that can survive everyday use, I don't think you will be disappointed. Also, unlike my old shower rings, these stay on the rod.

When I opened the package, one of the rings was broken. It was unfixable. However, the rest look just like the picture and are super cute. Since it was only one,i threw it away amd just skipped a middle hole. We'll see how they hold up.
