Summary: Rust after 3-4 months and fall off rod constantly 2010-08-26
Comment: I figured since these shower hooks were chrome that they would be fairly resistant to rust, but unfortunately thats not the case. I bought these back in April 2010 and it is now late August and 9 out of 12 of the hooks are rusting, some worse than others. Yeah, im sure they can be CLR'd, but I shouldnt have to do this every 3-4 months. On top of that they fall off every time you go to get in the shower. My advice is buy different shower hooks... maybe stainless steel?

Summary: May Damage Tub 2010-05-12
Comment: If these hooks fall off for you, be careful! I bought similar hooks and one fell off and the ball hit the tub and chipped the porcelain, leaving me with a costly repair.

Summary: Great design. Chrome fails though. 2010-02-16
Comment: Great design. They slide well and don't tend to come off the rod. Nor are they hard on shower curtains. However, with a stainless steel curtain rod, the chrome wore off and they rusted like crazy and caused the stainless curtain rod to accumulate surface rust spots too, as water deposited rust on the bottom surface of it. I had to use coarse stainless steel wool to remove it. I'll upload a picture to demonstrate what a year or two of use resulted in: rust! Granted, I often use my bathroom as a sauna, and these are the first hooks I've that lasted long enough for the chrome to wear off. I'll get some stainless ones instead.

Comment: Within a couple months these hooks began to rust. I've never seen shower curtain hooks do that before.
