Product Review

The Radial Duo Shower Curtain Rod and Towel Rack offers a stylish storage solution. A separate drying rod allows space for hanging towels, away from the wet shower curtain. Radiused bar creates more room in the shower. Easy -to-use "Quick Lock" assembly.

Amazon.com Review

Simple inspiration describes Polder's DUO shower curtain rod. This innovative design incorporates two parallel bars instead of just one-and instantly multiplies its value in the bathroom. Slightly staggered in height, the taller inside bar hangs a shower curtain and the lower outside bar holds towels, wet bathing suits, or a change of clothes. Perfect for too-small bathrooms (aren't they all?) or large families, this pairing frees up precious wall space and keeps doors and cabinets from becoming impromptu towel racks. Another great variation is to hang a liner on the inner rod and the curtain on the outer rod to increase airflow and cut down on mildew and mold growth. Easy to install with Polder's quick-lock assembly that requires no hardware, the rod fits standard 5-foot bathtubs. It comes in a variety of finishes to match any bathroom décor. --Kara Karll

Same as the previous reviewer...the concept is terrific but the installation is a nightmare! To add insult to injury, the installation instructions are clearly written in english by a native speaker, but are more of a hindrance than help! Some of the stuff they tell you to do to install this thing is just plain wrong. After much swearing and frustration, the rod is up and seems a little unstable...hopefully it will hold together.

If I could grade this like kids used to get double grades (effort/ability) , I'd give this an "A" for concept, and an "F" for installation. This thing was a nightmare to install -- my husband was almost ready to throw it out.

However, now that it's up, we love the added room in the shower. We have a 1960's tract house with a little rectangular bath and over the bath shower. We couldn't build out the bath without demoing the walls. This gives us more elbow room and a much nicer bath without the demo cost. All in all, it's worth a half-day's suffering.
