I loved this shower curtain as soon as I took it out of the package. It is beautiful and well-made.
The shower curtain is made of a thick, textured cotton fabric. The hems on the sides and bottom are double stitched. The fabric at the top of the curtain, where you place the rings, is double thick, and the holes for the rings are reinforced with stitching so the rings will not tear the curtain. That is especially important because this is not a flimsy, lightweight shower curtain.
Because the shower curtain is made of cotton you will want to use a liner with it. When it needs to be cleaned, you can toss it in the washer (cold water) and dryer (tumble dry low). The care label says you may use a warm iron on it if necessary, but if you take it out of the dryer promptly and rehang the curtain it shouldn't need any ironing.
This item is part of a line of coordinated bed and bath items. You can splurge and get the whole set, or just treat yourself to a bit of...Read more

Something...I never quite considered. A nice thick showercurtain to make the bathroom feel and look very luxe!
The color is nice--not a stark sterile color but a nice, warm cream shade, that's not overpowering. It's thick quality, and has a good hang to it. It has buttonhole slits for the curtain hooks--so it won't CLANG around in your dryer when you wash it.
What else do you say, right? It's a shower curtain. It's a very nice quality one that has a European hotel feel, and I think would work with a number of decors, because it's not overpowering in design.

When my husband first saw this, he asked me if I was sure they sent me the right thing, because the "shower curtain" sure looked like a quilt. While I was sure it was actually a shower curtain, I have to agree with him in that it does look more like a quilt that would have been on your Grandma's bed than a shower curtain.
That being said, it is very thick and sturdy. There will be no peeping in! This may be obvious to everyone else who uses this type of shower curtain, but it works best as an outer curtain only, so you will likely need an inner curtain to repel water. Overall, this curtain leans a good bit old-fashioned in its appeal.
EDIT: After several months of use and a couple of washes, this has totally fallen apart. It's not taking up room in a landfill. :(
