First, no... It is not a dark sage green. Mainly because it is almost sheer. If you bunch it up, or double the fabric, you can see the green color come out more. But it is NOT yellow for those that are thinking of purchasing. I would consider this leaning towards a kind of wheat color (which is sort of yellowish, I suppose), tinted with a soft green. Hopefully that helps you out some if trying to decide to purchase. The use of the word "yellow" is a weak description. All in all, I would consider this a neutral. I like that the bamboo part is not an "airport asian" type of look. If looking for a punch of color, this is not it. If looking for something to tone down a lot of color, or just something more "Zen", to blend in or flow with your bathroom, then this is it. I have grass-cloth wallpaper and the soft green in the curtain gently brings out little bits of it in the paper.

I received my shower curtain today, and was disappointed in the color. It has much more yellow in it than I had expected. Almost more of a greenish yellow than what I consider a sage. Seems to be well made, though, and the embroidery is fine. It's very sheer like I needed. I'll have to look at it against the wall for awhile and see if it grows on me.

I like the curtain but be advised that it is primarily a light tan color, at least that's how it looks in my sage bathroom. It's darker when you get it than it looks in the pics. Otherwise it's a nice curtain if that's the color you're looking for.
