Kikkerland Yellow Submarine Shower Curtain, 72-Inch by 72-Inch

Even after two weeks this curtain still emits a strong and nauseating chemical odor. That is a sign of VOC's (volatile organic compounds) coming off the product. These chemicals are toxic. Unless you do not mind being poisoned, get something else. If this company had any conscience, it would not make a product that emits such noxious fumes that poison people and the environment. Don't take my word for it. Do an internet search for VOC's and survey the science behind this. You will find objective empirical evidence that such chemicals are toxic. Protect yourselves, and do not endorse this company's reprehensible products.

When I read the reviews for this product, one in particular talked about how bad the shower curtain stunk. And while I was apprehensive, I liked the product too much so I figured I would take a chance. Once the product arrived, I thought I was going to be kicking myself because it did STINK. Horribly. Like, I'm worried I might have cancer now from breathing the smell in STINKY. And although it was a horrifying experience and I'm sure the stuff I was breathing in is not good for me, I put on the bathroom fan and left the shower curtain up. After about a day or a day and a half, the smell dissipated and no longer exists. Now, my bathroom is smell free with a super-cute shower curtain!!! Overall, love the product, the color, the design.

I was not happy with this shower curtain. It's too thin.The liner is twice as thick as the curtain!! It blows around while you're taking a shower,which I find obnoxious. So not worth 16 dollars. Will steer clear of Kikkerland from now on. A really cool concept though.
