I've used these now for a few months and they haven't started to rust. They roll smoothly and were easy to install. I was too lazy to high-tail it out to Target so I purchased these on Amazon for probably twice the amount they sell for in retail stores. Still, they work. If you need shower curtain rollers that work and don't make loud screechy sounds as they drag upon the metal shower bar, these are for you. Especially if you are too lazy (like me) to go to a store.

While hanging my shower curtain with the curtain hooks, some of the metal balls fell off of the hook and now part of the shower curtain looks unbalanced.

We are very pleased with our new hooks on wheels. The curtain flies back and forth now with that great sound. Amazon was a fraction of the price than at neighborhood stores. The design of the "safety pin hook" prevents the curtain from popping off this hook so I don't have to stand there constantly re-hooking the fatigued failing plastic old hook.
