This review is from: InterDesign EVA Shower Liner,72 by 72 Clear Frost (Kitchen) Update: I've now had this shower curtain for 4 months, and it is still going strong. It is nearly spotless, and has not gotten any mold/mildew. I treat it often after I shower (w/the solution described below, just spraying it on lightly and leaving it on). Highly recommended!
I've had this shower curtain up for about a month or two. I care for it by rinsing it off periodically when I'm in the shower, and spraying it with a homemade shower cleaner (water, vinegar, isopropyl rubbing alcohol, dish soap, and essential oils). It has stayed clean (not too many hard water/soap stains/accumulations), and it is not moldy or mildewy at all. The liner has not ripped at all, either, and seems to be a little tougher than other liners. I'm very satisfied. 13 of 13 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: InterDesign EVA Shower Liner (Kitchen) I would not use this liner as a stand alone. As much as the material is great for resisting mold and mildew, you need to pair it with a canvas curtain for weight. Otherwise, the liner may flap around, especially if you have a fan or open window. I had to use it as a stand alone while I was waiting for a canvas curtain from pottery barn to ship, and I was hesitant about it keeping water out at either end as there were no weights at the bottom. Once the curtain came in, everything was perfect. I love that the liner is cheap, but it isn't one of those cheap vinyl chalky curtain messes. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: InterDesign EVA Stall Shower Liner, Clear Frost (Kitchen) Its rare to find a shower curtain with dimensions of 54 x 78" in stores or online, so I was glad this curtain existed especially being chlorine free. The only issue I have with the curtain is that is it too light. Even with a fabric shower curtain before this EVA liner, the liner still blows in on me. I prefer not having the liner touch my skin when showering for hygiene reasons. |
