Hookless Mystery 71 by 74-Inch Shower Curtain, Beige

Comment: This is my second Hookless Mystery Curtain. The first one is 1 1/2 years old. It is a wonderful product.

1. I've never had a problem with water spraying through the fabric. I had knee surgery and sitting on a stool with a sprayer didn't cause any problems -- even thought the sprayer was sometimes aimed directly at the fabric.
2. The curtain comes wrinkled and stays that way. Heat sets wrinkles in polyester. That's good for pants, not so good for shower curtains.
3. The magnets at the bottom are wonderful. It's easy for them to be placed so that no water gets out of the tub.
4. I am 5'1" tall. I can see through the mesh screen. If you are shorter, you may not be able to see out. The screen allows a lot of light in and makes the area seem larger.
5. The beige is not beige. It is off-white. Hookless does make a beige curtain which is much darker.
6. The chrome rings are very modern looking and look like they will scratch over time. Hookless also makes the curtain with matching rings. The matching rings are more traditional looking and will not scratch. Matching rings also allow you to use other metals in your bathroom more attractively.
7. The fabric is softer and takes up less "space" in the shower. I'm not sure how that works, but a plastic one will be closer to your body.
7. The rings slide more easily than any shower hooks I have ever used.
8. The fabric will stain. Do not use this curtain if you are rinsing out hair dye.
9. The curtain pleats beautifully when you pull it back. It looks neat without you fussing over it.

This is a product I highly recommend -- especially if wrinkles don't bother you much.

Comment: Beige is not beige, it's a creamy, butter yellow. Not what I expected, disappointed in knowing I'll have to wrap everything back up and take the time and energy to send it back and start searching again. Sigh.

Comment: I ordered the beige and it doesn't carry the same undertone as pictured. The one pictured has a muted peachy underdone which works well with the bath items that we have. However, the shipment came in and the color was instead a light egg yolk color. It was a lot more yellow than "advertised." Also, the clear part in the middle looked like it could've been a translucent material, but it was still cloth, but mesh-like.

Definitely not what I had in mind. Still, it looks well enough. The quality seems durable, so we'll see.

Comment: I purchased a few in different colors and these are a very nice purchase, glad I did as well as everyone else. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The only down side if you can call it that is the fixed length on all colors. So make sure the adjustment is for 'length' also width! :-)

Comment: I love this shower curtain! After reading all the previous reviews about the colors being off, I decided that beige sounded good to me and I was not disappointed. The curtain is a lovely shade of ivory and goes wonderfully well in both my downstairs and upstairs bathrooms.

These shower curtains were extremely easy to put up...are easy to open and close, and with a little shake, the water shakes off, and I just then place the curtain back outside the tub to air dry. I've never had any problems with water going through them and they really don't need a liner.

I love not having shower hooks to deal with and the cloth is so much nicer than plastic curtains! They are just beautiful and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a shower curtain that they won't be able to live without! I'll never go back to hooks.
