First off, the mounting requires you to use screws. There is no way to install it otherwise... super heavy duty mounting stickers maybe if you are desperate. I installed it above my tile line into the dry wall because my shower curtain still fit into the tub height wise.
There is so much more room in my tiny shower. I don't feel cramped and because the shower curtain attaches on the ends it actually catches more water into the tub than a standard straight shower rod.
Design seems pretty sturdy even though it's made out of cheap plastic.
Only downside is patching the holes left by the screws when I move, which is no problem really.

Shower rod in my apartment's bathroom came crashing down, fun. After being blown off by the land-lord, decided to order an affordable replacement rod myself - figured if i was going to spend the money might as well go for one of these fancy space-extending shower rods (my bathroom is TEENY TINY!). After some bad luck with a lower-cost plastic rod (fell off the wall!) and a round of returns I came across this rod.
I don't know that I would deck out a luxury bathroom with this one - the rod itself is metal which looks nice, but some of the component mounting pieces are plastic - but it is definitely a good value for the price point especially considering install was a cinch (It has two options - I went the no screw route). I like that you can push it out for more room in the shower, but push it back when its not in use (again clutch in my tiny bathroom). This rod also has a hook near the mount - kind of tough to explain - but it lets u hook the curtain inside the shower if...Read more

I am so happy with this product, it is genius. Thanks to the extend-it, I never have to make out with my curtain liner again! I screwed into the wall, as my tile does not go high enough to attempt stickies. I guess if I had to complain I would say: 1. Once you snap the bar in, can you snap it out? I could not seem to do it, but luckily my rings snap and unsnap so I just did that. 2. Maybe more instruction about placement? I would have maybe placed mine closer into the shower if I had it to do over again. Nonetheless! Those things aside, I love love love it. It allows me to have a very roomy shower and conversely a roomy bathroom when I am done. I would totally buy this again and I will absolutely take it with me when I move.
