There was NO chemical smell upon opening the packaging, therefore no need to let it sit outside for a week to off gas! It looks very nice, not too heavy or too thin. Perfect!

I absolutely love this shower curtain. We finally replaced our old, disgusting liner with this product, and it was definitely worth the money. It's (allegedly) more environmentally friendly than most other plastic alternatives and just as durable, though it's much thinner, more flexible, and easier to handle. I also like the pattern. It actually does sort of look like rice paper, and it's really pretty if you have a bathroom that gets a little natural sunlight.

This shower curtain is good because it is eco-friendly and because it is made out of EVA material, it does not emit odors like other plastic curtains do. I've been using the curtain for a few months, and it is still mildew-free!
For those of you wondering if it's see-through, it is not see-through.
