My first observation was that the color was off. While there is some hints of copper one would expect in a ORB finish, there was a distinct overall silver/gray cast to it.

The second observation was that this is a tension rod, which is not noted in the product description. I was expecting screw mount, but could live with tension... except...

The last and fatal observation did not come until it was out of the packaging (which you have no choice but to destroy, so return is not an option). The rubber pads that protect the walls extend out a significant amount past the end caps, on the order of 3/16-1/4" and are stark white. This means there is a large and obvious gap between the wall and the end cap, through which you can see that ugly, ugly, pad. There is a reason the product photo here is displayed on this angle - if it was shown on the side view, especially with how it looks mounted, no one would buy it.

Very attractive rod and hook set. Colors in picture are accurate. The only complaint I have is the hooks tend to get caught on the plastic where the rod extends in the middle, and the hook itself should be longer around so as not to come off the rod so easily while you're pulling the curtain. But, I've noticed this is a recurring problem with most shower curtain hooks.

Ordered this a few days before xmas with no rush upon the date I would receive the item. Arrived before Xmas. Easy install, looks great and a great price!
