The calendar is generic in its presentation - the format is the same for NFL teams and other pro franchises in the other sports. The major selling point is the player photos can be used for autographs, with the calendar then essentially becoming a booklet for the collector. By using the calendar in such a creative fashion, it will remain a must purchase every year.
