These are very nice looking shower hooks. They are nice and solid, and look great in my bathroom. Another reviewer mentioned the hooks were to small for his shower curtain rod. Even though I have a tension rod, I went ahead and ordered them anyway, and they work perfectly on my rod. The dimension of the hook opening, that goes over the shower curtain rod, is 1 1/8"across, if that helps anyone out!?
I'm very pleased, and glad I ordered these hooks!

These shower curtain hooks are great. They are shiney, heavy & slide across the rod smoothly. Had them for a few months & they have not tarnished or rusted. Very pleased. They are shown in my image on my shower curtain review.

This design will only work on a somewhat narrow-circumference shower curtain rod because the hook section is not particularly generous. If you use a tension rod (which tend to be bigger in circumference) or a colored plastic sleeve over the rod, these will not slide. Not a very good design unfortunately, because they look good. They just don't work. Hard to believe nobody tried them out before putting them in production.
