However, it was perfect for me. I'm in the Air Force and recently moved out of the dorms in Germany. In my condo's bathroom, there is a separate tub and shower, but the shower is a little cell with barely enough room to use, and the temperature adjustment is so picky my choices are either to turn up my heating so high that a cold shower is not objectionable, or burn while I'm showering.
The tub is set up like most American showers in that it has a shower head and a faucet to fill the tub, but no shower curtain rod! My landlord requested that I not put nails anywhere besides the walls, and the entire bathroom is lined with tile, so a tension rod was my only choice. This one was highly affordable, even for someone that's still in the process of buying cooking stuff and a couch and bed, and stays up fine.
