Very pleased with this purchase!! Looks elegant, as well can be used in a not so elegant setting. Quality is a+ Add the shower curtain hooks with roller balls, and you have a complete,great looking,"system" that is durable,works without any resistance, and doesnt require any hardware installation. Having said without hardware, DOnt worry!! not cheap made, so it seems as though it is permantly installed.

I am desperate for this item (former cut to fit one broke and could not be re-installed!) and returning awkwardly shaped packages is a hassle so I am keeping this attractive rod. Unfortunately, it is NOT a CHROME finish. Possibly brushed chrome but not the chrome I know on bathroom fixtures ... like the light, shower assmbly, 2 faucets and 3 towel bars in my bathroom that I wanted to match! If you look, even the pic on Amazon shows a brushed-like finish; I thought it was just a poor photo! But, this rod is nice looking and seems sturdy but, buyer beware, the color is NOT what I would call chrome. [It doesn't look anything like what auto bumpers and trim used to be made of!] (And what's with the word "Kitchen" after the product description??)
