This rod works exactly as stated. I have a small tub area and the curved design gives us that much more room in the shower, and the curtain is not being sucked into your body. It was easy to install and very nice looking.

easy to install. had it almost a year, we have really hard water but it has barely effected this rod. its also much more enjoyable to shower without having the curtain suck to your body all the time.

This shower rod really needs to be firmly screwed to the studs in the wall, to keep it from becoming loose over time.
It does expand the shower stall, but it will also make small bathrooms look smaller. Not the best choice in cases where it will be used with a shower curtain and liner, if the toilet is less than two feet from the bathtub/shower, as the curtain would drape too close to the toilet.
However, for roomy bathrooms, this curved rod works really well.
Not quite rust resistant.
